A note about our unique bus excursion "Moving Feast" travel format -
Our trips are day trips that begin around 8:00 AM, and conclude
around 8:00 PM. We depart from Roger's house at 1575 Alexander Ave. in Chambersburg, Pa. There is ample street
parking along Alexander and Hudson Avenues.
Our Chef's backgrounds
compel us to spoil you with culinary treats, meals, and beverages on our excursions. We are constantly challenging ourselves
to serve the finest "bus fare" that we can create.
Guests are greeted in the morning with appetizer treats, Champagne Mimosas, coffee, and variety juices. A
three course breakfast (usually a quiche or frittata, potato dish, and fresh fruit) is served upon boarding. Then throughout
the day guests eat and drink every time the bus stops. Service may include more appetizers, lunch, dinner or desserts.
We contract the most modern, state of the art, tour coach transportation available today.
Our drivers are correctly licensed and are schooled in how our guests are to be treated. We are proud of our transportation
relationships and feel you will be well pleased. We take care of driver gratuities.
The first 50 paid registrations fill each coach for each destination. Registration checks are made out to Roger Tappen,
and are mailed to Roger Tappen, 1575 Alexander Ave., Chambersburg, Pa. 17201. Please remember to note the date and destination,
and the name of any guest not listed on the check.
informative DVD documentaries, relevant to our destination, play on the bus as we travel.
Detailed trip itineraries are emailed to each guest a week before we depart to each destination.
Trip announcements (and cooking class announcements) are made via email with www.cookingwithroger.com serving as the home web site and registration site. Register on this web site to receive up to date class and travel
schedules, as well as recipes, cooking tips, and culinary trend news. Email addresses are not shared.
Our goals are to travel in comfort and safety to memorable destinations, to shower you with
impressive cuisine, and to leave you with the impression that "This is not your ordinary bus trip!!!"
