SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20, FALLINGWATER TRIP DETAILS
We will leave from Roger's house at 1575 Alexander Ave., Chambersburg, Pa. 17201. Please arrive at 8:30 AM.
There is ample street parking along Alexander Ave., and around the corner on Hudson Ave. A morning beverage and treat
station will await your arrival. A delicious box breakfast will be served as we board the luxury coach at 9:00 am.
An entertaining and informative DVD documentary about the life and work of Frank Lloyd Wright will play on the coach
as we travel. Beverages and treats will be served at a rest stop mid way to Fallingwater, about an hour and a half after
our departure from Chambersburg. Upon arrival at Fallingwater we will have about a half hour to enjoy the
beautuful surroundings before we meet our tour guides and walk down to the house. Tours last approximately 45 to 60
minutes. After our tours we can again enjoy the impressive grounds, pavillion, and gift shop. Upon boarding the bus
a delicious lunch will be served, and beverages offered. We will make a rest stop again about midway back to Chambersburg.
Dessert, beverages, and a hearty snack will be offered. We will arrive back in Chambersburg at approximately 7:30
PM.

cost of the trip is $115. Checks are made payable to Roger Tappen, and are sent to 1575 Alexander Ave., Chambersburg,
Pa. 17201. The first 50 PAID registrations will fill the group. A notation on or with the check denoting Sampler's
Fallingwater Trip is helpful in my accounting. And again, it is helpful if you list traveling companions. The

Please note: There is a 1/4 mile walk from the staging area to the house, and about 100 steps in the house tour.
Wheelchairs and walkers are not permitted in the house.
