Q: Are classes
instructor presentation style, or hands on with class member participation?
A: Both styles of presentations will be offered.
The presentation format will be noted on each class announcement.
Q: Multiple dates are listed for classes. Are
we to attend all the sessions?
A: The same class is repeated on the dates listed because of anticipated participation. Choose
the date that suits you, or your group, and attend that class on that date.
Q: Do you offer group rates?
A: I am trying to keep class
rates reasonable, on an individual basis, and will do my best to please participants with the class experience at the per
person rate.
Q: Are children welcome at class?
A: Children 10 years of age or older are most welcome at class.
The rate is the same for children.
Q: How should we dress?
A: Dress as you please, but casual will be the norm. Although
Northgate Commons is an elegant environment, you will feel comfortable in casual clothes.
Q: How do I pay for class?
A: I'm requesting that you
pre-pay for classes with a check or money order made out to Roger Tappen. Send the check to 1575 Alexander Ave., Chambersburg,
Pa. 17201. I am investigating on line payment methods, but have experienced difficulties with a popular system in the
past with other endeavors. For now, please pay in advance with a check or money order at the listed address.
Q: Will you refund money
if a situation arises which makes me unable to attend class?
A: Absolutely. Of course I'd like as much notice as possible.
I will always refund money when you let me know you can't attend, and I will refund money for no-shows with no notice - once.
Q: How would you describe the overall atmosphere of class as they are taking place?
A: I'll ask for your courteous
attention, but I want you to be relaxed and comfortable. You are welcome to comment and ask questions spontaneously.
I think questions should be asked and answered while they are relative to the activity at hand. Your questions and comments
give value to the class.
Q: Who's that pretty lady
helping you with class?
A: That's Marian Fatseas McCall. Marian is my dear friend, and partner in all my culinary endeavors
for twenty years. Things have a way of going better when I team with Marian.
